Covering 20,000 square meters, the operation is located in Stradella in the province of Pavia. It is dedicated to the warehousing and handling of products destined for healthcare distribution channels. According to CEVA, the launch was driven by the success of the provider's City of Books hub, aimed at publishers of educational, fiction and nonfiction books and magazines. In hosting companies from the same industry at one location, CEVA said, it can help customers better to respond to market fluctuations by providing visibility across the supply chain. Built in collaboration with Akno Business Parks, The City of Pharma is equipped with systems for temperature control. It can be extended by an additional 40,000 square meters in line with future market demand. Stradella is located at the intersection of major Italian communication, rail and road routes, CEVA said.
