The tool was designed to help retailers and grocers optimize their fulfillment processes to meet the demands of omnichannel customers. It covers the movement of goods from receipt to the backroom, store shelf and replenishment. Features include the ability to conduct cycle counting, with inventory-adjustment controls to maintain store inventory accuracy; a single pool of inventory per product to which all channels have access, with fulfillment prioritization rules among online, home delivery, store requirements and wholesale orders; the ability to handle unique fulfillment requirements such as temperature-sensitive items; configurable services management for activities such as labeling, kitting and assembly; and store receipt processing with support for ASN and PO management. In another company announcement, HighJump is partnering with Unata, a vendor of omnicommerce applications. The deal combines Unata’s Click & Collect module with HighJump’s in-store fulfillment software. Unata’s module integrates directly with HighJump’s Retail Advantage.
