The deal includes IBM's LogicNet Plus, Inventory and Product Flow Analyst, and Transportation Analyst products, along with related technology and support teams. LLamasoft said it will begin providing software maintenance, support and services to all LogicTools customers, effective immediately. The company said the acquisition was part of its continued investment in the supply-chain design and planning software market. LLamasoft applications are aimed at helping companies to model, optimize and simulate their supply-chain networks.
