OnProcess is a vendor of tools for service supply-chain management and optimization. Ariba focuses on applications for procurement and supplier management. Under the enhanced alliance, OnProcess will provide implementation and consulting services for Ariba Spend Visibility, Ariba Sourcing, and Ariba Contract Management in North America. OnProcess already provides those services to Ariba customers in the Asia-Pacific and Europe regions, and has been supporting the Ariba Supplier Network in the U.S. since 2010. According to OnProcess, customers will realize immediate savings of between 8 and 14 percent by eliminating non-competitive suppliers, and requiring suppliers to bid on specific events and categories in an open environment. They will also reduce the time to find suppliers by 30 percent, and cycle times by more than 50 percent, OnProcess claimed.
