Harte-Hanks, Inc. has entered into a partnership with FreightCo Logistics to offer international supply-chain management services to clients. Harte-Hanks is a global company offering support for direct and targeted marketing programs. FreightCo is a worldwide freight forwarder. The deal is intended to extend the range of supply-chain management services provided by both organizations, the partners said. Harte-Hanks's logistics offering combines experience in direct mail with supply-chain and transportation management for companies moving raw materials or manufactured goods. It chose FreightCo as a partner "because they provide creative and flexible transportation solutions with a high level of personalized customer service," according to Robert J. Colucci, corporate officer and vice president of Harte-Hanks. Jesper H. Dahl, president of FreightCo, said the deal will allow his company to integrate its global freight-forwarding and technology services into the Harte-Hanks platform. FreightCo's offerings cover marine and cruise logistics, hospitality, trade shows, aerospace and automotive industries, government and military contracts, warehousing and distribution.
