Next View Software, a vendor of systems for improving supply-chain productivity, has added functionality to the Next View Labor Management System. LMS provides data analysis, charting and reporting capabilities. The latest release allows users to visualize any queries they create within the system. Users can set up ad hoc reports and charts more easily, and can also create their own dashboard preferences and components, which allow them to view critical data for day-to-management. They can drag and drop dashboard components, which are automatically resized based on the preferences of a particular user. A "tool tip" feature enables users to view the supporting data for various data points on the charts they create, without having to leave the dashboard. All activities are carried out by the end user; there is no need for IT intervention or additional data integration, according to Next View.
