Infor has designed three new applications built on Force.com, the social enterprise platform of Salesforce.com. Dubbed InForce, the apps are intended to help users better collaborate with customers. Under a partnership with Salesforce.com, Infor will build and deliver InForce Everywhere, a native Force.com application which brings enterprise resource planning (ERP) data into Salesforce; InForce Order Management, a quote, order and proposal-management application, and InForce Marketing, which will draw on Infor CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Epiphany for global marketing automation technology. Available later this year, InForce Everywhere will offer a complete view of invoices, contracts, quotes, shipments, receivables, orders and return merchandise authorizations. In addition, Salesforce users will be able to view orders from Infor ERP applications. Other features include access to customer information and transactions from the Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud using InForce Everywhere; connection to ION, Infor's standard integration platform, and Salesforce Chatter, which will allow users to engage with customers through such features as social profiles, status updates and real-time feeds. Salesforce.com has made an investment in Infor as a part of the agreement.
