Together the tools include more than 1,000 new features, functions and enhancements, Oracle said. PeopleSoft 9.2 draws on new technology capabilities within PeopleTools 8.53. With its delivery, Oracle is providing upgrade scripts as well as a multi-language version of the release. One feature of the new suite, PeopleSoft Update Manager, allows users to tailor change packages according to their specific needs, apply maintenance on their schedules, and streamline maintenance processes. In another company announcement, Oracle has released version 3.1 of its Primavera P6 Analytics, a configurable business-intelligence tool which helps companies reduce project risk by speeding up analysis and increasing control. The latest release includes an expanded range of key industry metrics which provide support for off-line and online maintenance projects, and enable day-to-day project tracking. The application is part of Oracle's Primavera P6 Enterprise Portfolio Management suite for project-intensive industries. Finally, Oracle has launched a new Supply Warranty Management application, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. It allows users to process, analyze and validate the legitimacy of claims consisting of unstructured data, such as customer-reported problems, technician and supplier notes, remote diagnostic data and test results.
