The latter provides protection plans for mobile devices. Ingram Micro Mobility will perform all mobile device lifecycle services and back-end supply-chain operations for SquareTrade. Ingram Micro will also support SquareTrade's Advance Exchange service, which provides customers with "like-new" replacement devices overnight, along with a prepaid envelope for returning the damaged unit. SquareTrade expects the collaboration to double its volume of protection plans by the end of 2013, adding smartphone protection for 1 million new customers over the next five months. Ingram Micro's logistics services include warehousing, order and accounts receivable management, end-user fulfillment and reverse logistics.
