Resilinc tracks thousands of global news sources and identifies critical supply-chain disruptions. It then notifies clients about potential threats. Intelligent filtering eliminates redundant notifications and reduces time spent on events that don't impact the supply chain, the vendor said. EventWatch Professional provides e-mail notification of researched threats, along with a summary of the event's potential impact. Each notification provides event details and known impacts, industries and regions that are potentially impacted, and links to further information and research. The tool monitors more than 25 types of disruptive events, ranging from natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes and floods to isolated incidents such as factory fires, labor strikes and government regulatory actions.
