In another company announcement, Epicor has acquired operating assets and intellectual property of Insite Software, a provider of B2B and direct-to-consumer electronic commerce platforms and internationally enabled shipping services. The acquisition includes the InsiteShip and InsiteManifest software applications, including associated customer contracts, related intellectual property and other assets. Insite has been a technology alliance partner of Epicor since 2003, providing shipping applications integrated with Epicor ERP (enterprise resource planning).
