Agentrics, a vendor of software and services for retail and supply-chain management, is launching a new collaboration platform, offered in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) mode. According to the company, the service will allow retailers and manufacturers to collaborate more effectively on managing their supply chains. Development of the new platform follows the launch of programs supporting such customers as Carrefour, Unilever, PepsiCo and Best Buy. Benefits of the service, the vendor claimed, include more balanced stock levels, improved customer relations and a more sustainable supply chain. Agentrics' products enable the distribution of data generated by new products, stores and channels, as well as changing consumer demand.
