The IBM Marketing Center is a IBM SmartCloud Solution which integrates digital analytics with real-time marketing-execution capabilities. Chief marketing officers can analyze customer shopping patterns, then create personalized offers via e-mails or websites. Smarter Commerce Managed Services is a new set of tools from IBM's Global Process Services group. It helps users to manage cross-channel commerce processes, especially those related to the human-interaction components of electronic commerce, such as chat support and live assistance. In the process, IBM said, companies can more effectively connect their multiple commerce channels to accelerate business results. Another new offering for strategic supply management, available both in on-premise and SmartCloud versions, IBM's Emptoris Strategic Supply Management was designed to speed up and improve supplier governance, risk and compliance. It gives chief procurement officers visibility and control over spending, contracts, service providers and supplier intelligence. The new version includes enhanced information-management and workflow capabilities.
