Aaron Henderson, Penske’s director of loss prevention, said the company joined CargoNet to achieve greater visibility across the U.S. “It allows us to better identify areas that require additional security, and when a theft does take place we’re able to move quickly to recover the assets,” he said. CargoNet is a division of Verisk Crime Analytics, which provides crime-prevention services to retailers, manufacturers, logistics companies, equipment owners and insurance companies. Verisk also supplies data and analytical support to law enforcement. Penske Logistics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing.
