The tools provide order promising, management visibility and fulfillment capabilities. They link the existing quote and sales process within Oracle Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) Cloud and the pick, pack and ship processes within Oracle Inventory Cloud with billing in Oracle ERP (enterprise resource management) Cloud. In the past, Oracle, said, those various processes were often siloed, especially when some elements operated in the cloud and some did not. With addition of the new products to the Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud, the vendor now provides a complete quote-to-cash cloud offering. Benefits on the order-management side include centralized order monitoring, management of order exceptions, ability to execute against predictable order orchestration policies, and centralized change-order logic. The order-promising app allows users to control fulfillment sources, timing and delivery; respond to changing business conditions and support multiple fulfillment options.
