Independent retailers using Epicor Eagle can now differentiate their businesses through a value-added service that is normally offered only by large, mass-market entities, Epicor said. They can engage customers both online and offline, and deliver curated product sets that cater to various customer segments. Consumers can develop their own gift list registries from items sold at a given retailer, then share them publicly or keep them private for their own use. Additional resources, such as “how-to” videos, can be added to demonstrate how to employ available products to complete a given project. Small to medium-sized retailers can attract new customers while expanding brand reach as consumers share lists with friends, relatives or associates, Epicor said.
