Cadec Global has joined with Blue Sky Technologies to improve the business intelligence utilized by trucking fleets. Cadec is a provider of fleet-management software. Its Mobius TTS application helps users to monitor driver behavior, improve safety and reduce costs. Blue Sky's software offers real-time supply-chain visibility. Its product known as Insight allows for the measurement of key indicators, monitoring of process improvements and maintenance of performance across the extended supply chain. The first product of the partnership was Mobius Insight, an add-on to Cadec's Mobius TTS, which provides pre-configured dashboards for the monitoring of safety, customer service, compliance, maintenance and costs. Cadec and BlueSky said they plan to expand their joint offering beyond Mobius Insight throughout this year. The intent, they added, is to help trucking fleets collect objective data that will help them to make better business decisions.
