Activant Solutions Inc. has developed a new version of its Activant Business Analyzer for distributors. The update makes additional information available to users, including bookings information, allowing for the analyzing of orders placed on a given day. Distributors can track changes to existing orders based on the original order date or date of modification, as compared to promised date. Other additions include user-defined columns for the storage of information, and class dimensions. Customers can analyze information by class related to the data. Purchasing managers can view order history to analyze purchases made over time. They can view the source of supplier material purchases, the trending of the purchases by item class, and other pertinent historical information. The Activant Business Analyzer allows for easy importing and updating of user-defined fields, the vendor said.
