The "cloud"-based platform lets shippers post shipments, have multiple carriers respond with fresh quotes on a real-time basis, then tender and track the shipments without the need for picking up the phone. Shippers can also direct-tender shipments to their preferred carriers, drawing on the site's integrated TMS functionality. Because GR8FR8 is not an auction site, carriers can quote higher or lower using the FR8mart application, and link up with shippers via live, private communication.
