Intermec Inc. has developed a new version of Skynax, the company's product for mobility management. The tool adopts a single-system approach for mobile data exchange, integrated application and device management, support and security. It transforms and integrates business data between mobile applications and host systems in real time. Skynax was designed for customers in field service, direct store delivery, presales and manufacturing, transportation and logistics and public safety. It comprises a suite of server, desktop and mobile device software applications. According to Intermec, Skynax Mobility Management addresses IT and business challenges within five key areas: data synchronization, network connectivity and utilization, security, device management and user support. Skynax 8.0 is available through Intermec's certified PartnerNet community.
