Drawing on two specialized mobile applications, Transportation Management supports such business processes as freight tender, order and shipment visibility, event management and access to transportation business intelligence on mobile devices. The B.I. enhancements include new content and metrics to support fleet and asset management. Version 6.3 of Global Trade Management introduces Oracle Customs Management, a module that helps users manage customs-clearance screening and filings by directly supporting U.S. export AES filings, while allowing data to be transferred to any other third-party filing broker system. The tool also streamlines processes by automating license assignment and balance management, and provides proactive notifications when licenses are due to expire or be used in full.
