The case-scheduling feature of Case Xpert issues early demand signals to manufacturers on case load and requirements through the hospital's existing scheduling system. Proactive notifications are routed to the manufacturer's sales representatives, to alert them to case and product needs. Case preparation gives providers and manufacturers a single view into case information, while usage capture and documentation provides the opportunity to scan the item and have it recorded in the provider's system, where it is visible to the manufacturer's sales rep. Order Intelligence takes information from Case Xpert and allows providers to process consigned orders with new data fields beyond electronic data interchange, route the orders to manufacturers and sales reps, park incomplete orders for further review, and inspect orders for price and allocation discrepancies.
