Other enhancements include customer-signature capture, when a specified item is added at point of sale; special order alerts, to warn staff of items that haven't been received; importing item lists; recurring suggested order report, and sales history summary viewer. Epicor is also preparing new releases later this quarter of Eagle Loyalty and Eagle Tablet POS. In another company announcement, Epicor has made available Epicor Mobile Business Analyzer for wholesale distributors. Built on top of the vendor's Business Analyzer application, and designed for the Apple iPad, the new tool provides business intelligence for executives and other decision-makers. Distributors can access key metrics and proactive alerts from their Epicor Prophet 21 enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in a single, near-real-time mobile dashboard, across a secure network connection. Mobile Business Analyzer summarizes a distribution organization's key performance indicators, in addition to providing dashboard views of sales and order trends over the past 12 months.
