ToolsGroup, a vendor of software for inventory optimization and supply-chain planning, has released three new products. They are POS (Point of Sale) Demand Sensing, Demand Collaboration Hub, and version 7.0 of SO99+, the company's inventory optimization and supply-chain planning platform. SO99+ 7.0 represents the evolution of the SO99+ application to a multi-enterprise platform. It features a new user interface, central dashboard for gauging the condition of the network, and predictive key performance indicators for flagging and prioritizing supply-chain glitches. The KPIs project future performance, allowing companies to take a proactive approach to any developing problems. POS Demand Sensing extends that capability to vendor-managed inventory locations and on to the retail shelf. It translates POS demand and retailer status into a time-phased demand signal for each SKU location in the multi-echelon network. The new Demand Collaboration Hub offers a platform for evaluating the relative accuracy of multiple demand-forecast data streams. It allows the best forecast sources to gain greater weight in the demand-planning process.
