The Epicor Eagle N Series features a simplified user interface, embedded analytics and streamlined workflows. Epicor said it plans to offer the Eagle N Series as an upgrade in conjunction with the next version of Epicor Eagle for Automotive Aftermarket, currently scheduled for release in early 2015. The Eagle N Series features an integrated bar providing real-time support via online help chat and Eagle Community assistance. The latter is a moderated forum through which Eagle users share ideas and best practices. In another company announcement, Epicor has agreed to acquire privately held QuantiSense, Inc., a provider of cloud-based and on-premises packaged analytic software for the retail industry. QuantiSense serves a broad variety of retail business users, including buyers, planners, marketers, auditors, store and regional managers, and corporate executives. Its platform consolidates large volumes of data from disparate systems into a role-based view of the business, according to Epicor.
