The tools were designed to optimize in-store and online size mixes, with an eye toward improving inventory performance, revenues, gross margins and customer loyalty, the vendor said. The Aptos Size Curve Solution and Aptos Size Pack Recommender examine large amounts of data and convert it into intelligence and recommendations. The Size Curve Solution uses size analytics based on customer demand. It also identifies ideal store-level size curves, and detects outliers. Once optimal size curves are identified, the Size Pack Recommender allows retailers to create optimal pack configurations with the proper sizes pre-packed for online or physical stores. With pack profiles, Aptos said, retailers can engage in multi-pack buying to maximize service levels, improve shipping efficiency, minimize manual handling, simplify allocation, ensure consistent size spreads and reduce costs.
