The update includes streamlined customer views and loyalty functionality for automated CRM program management, the vendor said. Retailers can draw on customer data and content generated by loyalty programs. Also included are comprehensive loyalty-program automation, new query tools and support for multi-divisional retail organizations. Epicor Retail CRM 7.0 automatically upgrades, downgrades, terminates or renews member types. With the help of a graphical flow-chart design, querying now includes step-by-step counts of customers so that users can see how each selected criterion affects list counts. The tool also offers faster debugging of list criteria if anticipated customer counts do not materialize. Tasks that previously required multiple queries can now be achieved via a single request, Epicor said. The new user interface was built on an Epicor Retail SOA (service-oriented architecture) foundation.
